Outdoor miniature village in south west England
The experience
About this day out
Babbacombe Model Village in Torquay is the UK's largest model village, set in a large valley in 4 acres of award-winning gardens on the English Riviera. It portrays a generic version of Britain through the decades with over 400 hand-crafted models, hundreds of scenes, over 13,000 miniature residents and a 1/12th scale model railway, packed with hidden puns and humour. The attraction is mostly outdoors but also has indoor attractions for showery weather.
