About this day out

Athelstan Museum is situated in the heart of the ancient hill-top town of Malmesbury, which has been occupied since at least the Iron Age. The museum displays a large range of items spanning from the Iron Age up to the present day, including a Roman coin hoard, a Turner painting, and a topographical model of the town. It is run entirely by volunteers and is a registered charity.
