About this day out
Adams Road Bird Sanctuary is a haven for wildlife nestled within the suburbs of Cambridge, and has been a wildlife sanctuary since 1928. Owned by St John's College and leased by the Adams Road Bird Sanctuary Committee, it encompasses a large pond with a reed bed set amongst mixed woodland, and is used by birds as well as bats, Water Vole and Otter.
