About this day out
Abertillery and District Museum is a volunteer-run museum on Market Street, Abertillery, run by the Abertillery and District Museum Society. It originally opened in 1972 in Abertillery library and since 2001 has been located on the ground floor of the Old Market Hall in the Metropole Building. Entry is free, and the museum includes a shop and coffee shop housing an early 1900s marble counter and soda fountain from the original Express Café.
